Why is having a c section seen as weaker or that we didn't give birth? My husband brought it up today because he's seen people say that on facebook and it made him mad. I risked my life to bring my baby here. I woke up intubated. I couldn't lift my arms for a week after she was born, my husband had to feed me. Day six I could barely breathe because the anesthesiologist messed up so bad and none of it mattered because I brought her into the world. How does that not count?
@fabledturtle I agree whole heartedly. People need to be more supportive instead of always trying to 1 up one another. At the end of the day I've never met a woman who compared giving birth to going to a spa so which ever way the cat is skinned it's no walk in the park lol
@kimny I really hate that we can't just focus on raising great kids. I think sending out people who can change the world is more important than whether or not you are able to push a baby out or whether or not you do it drug free. People are so judgemental 😩
If there were an easy way, guys would do it 😂😂
@rhealize I'm too weak to push so if I tried the doctor almost guarunteed would have had to do a c section anyway. I ended up going into labor the day of my c section so I got a little taste of contractions and those are no joke either, mama. There is no easy way to have a child!!
Csection is more life threatening and recovery is gruesome in comparison to a vaginal birth. Not to mention after having your intestines removed out of your body and rearranged, you have to come home in less than 2 weeks and still hold your baby on that fresh wound when most abdominal surgery patients don't lift anything for months. Whoever thinks c sections are a walk in the park are idiots who want a false sense of superiority over the next woman. Just like women who think women who don't breastfeed are less than those who do.
I had both naturally and have the highest respect for C section mommies. Somehow pushing a watermelon through my lady bits seemed easy, but going under a knife just terrifies me! I was so scared of the possibility through both pregnancies!
Honestly the worst pain for me was my back because they tried to stick the spinal and epidural so many times,my back was purple 😖. I think it's so beautiful that we get to create life and raise children I don't see how the way we give birth changes who we raise! I still have to explain to people why I couldn't do it naturally and why I couldn't breastfeed 😒 @haleybae
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
I personally think a c-section is worse i never had one and give props to anyone that has
