I'm being honest and factoring the possibility of baby colds, mastitis and milk imbalance. I had all of those this time but not with my older two. Feeding them was relatively easy but this one has been hard. By three months your milk is established and baby is a pro at eating.
Babies who breast feed have better immune systems and health through out life, it's easier to pull out a breast if ready made milk than to go through making a formula bottle every hour to two hours (trust me at 2am after not sleeping for weeks you will want to just pull a boob out and not have to measure and heat and measure and shake) you also have less crap to carry around and can feed your baby anywhere anytime.
The first two weeks is when the nipples are most sore. You get over it and they get used to baby so t doesn't hurt after a while.
@dhamiphoenix Two or three months... I was told two weeks. Why would I go through this hell for that long?! Women are nuts sometimes!
It is hard for the first two to three months but it does get easier and has tons of benefits for you and baby
I had no idea how strongly people felt - I really thought I'd have more support 💔
