Help! So I'm 34 weeks and have another appointment today. My doctors office can be a mess sometimes and today they called to let me know I was getting a check up with a coloscopy/colposcopy?? I looked it up but I'm sure if I'm reading the right thing. My mom says it's not safe to do that kind of biopsy during pregnancy especially when I am this far along. Plus I tried asking the nurse over the phone what it was exactly and she kept putting me on hold and laughing because she didn't know what it is. Wth? Any other mom's know exactly what I'm talking about?

That is completely unprofessional. I'm sorry your having a bad experience. Definitely talk to your dr before you allow the procedure. Make sure all of your questions are answered.
@cisaia801, to be honest I'm not to sure but I think it's colposcopy. You should def. mention to your dr how they have everything mixed up and why hasn't he explained to you why you where getting this procedure.

Wow that's weird I would think they would do that if you had an abnormal pap but I would think they would do that at the start of pregnancy not so far along I would def. be mad if they called me laughing and couldn't properly explain as that's there job smh

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I wouldn't let them do anything until they have explained why and even then possibly get a second opinion from another doctor as it doesn't sound right,
