How early is too early to go back to work? I do not want to go back to work before my 6 weeks but…

Dr won't clear you till at least six weeks

My postpartum app are always at 3 weeks that's at the health dept @brianna_,

I went to work a week after having my son. I was miserable and only lasted a week at the job. Basically cuz I hated the job. But if your ready to work then work when you feel it's going to be ok. It's based on state but talk to your dr about when you can. I don't think they can really tell you not to work. I know ppl who went into labor at work and once they left the hospital they was right back to work in a few days.

@mommysbabies, I'm going to talk to them and see what they say because they may or may not. I feel like another girl went back 3 weeks after but not sure

@brianna_, we was struggling or so I felt and so I just went one day and came home with a job. Hubby wasn't to happy because I would come one engorged and covered in milk even though I was wearing layers of shirts to try and prevent soaking through. So I quit working for a few weeks and waited till he was done feeding off me to go back. I hope to go back to work soon after this baby hubby says I don't have to but i want to start saving for police academy and criminal justice classes.

@lydia09876, well I didn't get depressed staying home with my daughter, I was more depressed being away from her. I enjoyed being at home taking care of her

@brianna_, well that's good me I have anxiety depression

@jessica.deshields, yeah see we have so many things going wrong rn that we need the extra income bad and I feel bad just staying home and not working plus I don't think we can stay afloat without the extra $$
