I was induced with all my children (5) not because complications just never went into labor on my own but never really over due my Dr. Is already talking about induction when im 37 wks ... Idk i was to be induced tho i wanna for once go on my own. And i would love to do a water birth but im kind of afraid at the same time of water birth . Any opinions on induction and anyone done a water birth and a regular birth if so which was best experience.

Does he have a reason why he wants to induce you at 37 weeks? Mine didn't even mentioned it until I was 40 weeks

I just had a water birth with my baby girl. Everything was so perfect. And I would recommend against inducing if you can help it. If I had gone through the hospital rather than my midwives, they would have induced too soon and my sweetheart would have been in the NICU. Babies stay as long as they need to. I gave birth a day before 41 wks and she was still only 6lbs2oz

I went into natural labor never had any medications or checks for dilation at all. I also did a water birth. It was an amazing experience and I did it all on my own (I cursed out my midwife, she was massaging my back to help with the pain and I yelled at her saying she was making it worse and she didn't try anything after that) I delivered Thea myself, like all of it myself and she is my first, I helped her head out and pulled her out and everything. All in the water. SO cut her cord. Midwife didn't touch her till about an hour after birth to do the NB check.
