Okay so I think I have come to the conclusion that Caysons rash is coming from something in his bed. So I'm going to replace one thing at a time until it doesn't happen anymore. Starting with the mattress and sheets. His mattress is the kolcraft pediatric 800 and I know it uses polyester filling. What mattresses have y'all found that doesn't use polyester? All his sheets are 100% cotton and so are the ones that I use on my bed as well so I don't think it's that but I'm going to give the Muslin sheets a try. Just don't know about a mattress.

@beebaby, no not yet. His pediatrician wanted to try steroid cream first and then if that didn't help they were going to do the same treatment as they would for scabies and then we were going to start trying to get in to the dermatologist. Only two around me take his insurance, one is an hour away and the other is 2 and 1/2 so we are trying to make it a last resort because they are also booked solid for the next several months.

@beebaby, I have already done that. I have treated for bugs, I have treated for fungal, I have treated for poison ivy. I have cleaned, bombed, sprayed and then cleaned some more all of his stuff and room. He has slept in my bed the past three nights and hasn't woke up with any new break out and it's clearing up. I even cut the top of his mattress open to make sure to spray down into it where it's waterproof. It's been going on for over two months now and none of the doctors I have seen know what it is. They just know it's not anything serious but it is driving me insane. Nothing in his diet has changed since the start of this and the doctors said his mouth and throat is clear and if it was something he ate it would be there as well. So I'm running out of options of what it could be lol.

Just bleach everything in the crib. And see what happens. Has he changed anything in his diet?

@dreamermom , I thought the same but we use the same detergent on everyone's clothes and he doesn't break out if he stays in my bed or in the pack and play.

@beebaby, Gain. It's the same that we have used all his life. And when he is just sleeping in the pack and play or in my bed in his clothes the rash does go away. But as soon as I put him in his crib he wakes up with it again.

I was thinking maybe changing your detergent...
