Tonight, I drove approximately 2 hours to Latta SC, to watch my boy play in what ended up being his final school baseball game ever. We haven't been home long and yes it may seem crazy to drive a baby that far and turn around and come back the same night, but nothing was going to keep me from watching my boys last game. I have enjoyed watching him grow and play on these teams for his entire life. He always loves playing so much! I have been there for it all and I loved every minute of it. Now it's come to an end and I'm washing his baseball pants for the very last time. I am so proud of the man he has become now and I do thank baseball and his coaches for helping him along the way. I truly believe baseball helped keep him out of trouble and give him something to look forward to over the years. Being a part of a team really makes a difference for a kid. I love you so much my son! Don't ever forget that!! I am so proud of you! Always remember, never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game! 💙⚾️💙⚾️💙⚾️💙⚾️💙⚾️
