Today I went for my 20 week ultrasound and the doctor told me I had a low placenta. He wants me to come back in 8 weeks for another ultrasound. He said it should be normal by than but being a first time mom of course it worries me. My boyfriend said not to worry but I can't help it. When the doctor was telling me he didn't seem to concerned but it's still scary. Is having a low placenta common?

Don't stress mom and stay away from dr. Google! If the doctor didn't alarm you then it's something he wants to monitor.
And the doctor said no sex until I come back for the ultrasound. So that's a restriction and restrictions are scary lol
I had placenta previa which is when the placenta completely covers the cervix. It moved all by its self though by the time I was 7 months.
Don't worry mama. Thats nothing to be worried about. But i understand being a ftm ur not sure what to worry about or not to worry about.
Mine was low and it moved by the time I had my next appointment. You have a good chance of yours moving too, to where it belongs. :)
