@lovestar2518 I literally went on YouTube and typed diastatis rectis routine exercises at home and switched the routine up every week.

This is by the time my son was 1.5. Sorry for posting so many pics on your post but you can get your body back to the way you want it by using common household items to build muscle tone.

@lovestar2518 I agree with @kenitra. I too had 2 finger breaths separation and did pelvic floor exercises at home and was able to correct the issue. I posted a few pics so you can see the progress. This is 1 week post partum.

@kenitra, that gives me so much hope thank you. I have been looking for the correct way to fix it online. I got DR with my second child and nobody told me until my third and now with our fourth and last baby I'm ready to be dedicated to fixing it. The hard part for me is to make it a habit and put it in my daily routine.

I had diastasis recti as well! (About a 3 fingertip separation and bellybutton and 1 above and below). I started women's pelvic floor physical therapy twice a week 2 months after son was born. Totally corrected the issue and now I can workout like normal! I did the exercises at home until he was about 4/5 months. It's great you are correcting it the right way though. So many women don't know and wonder why they can't get their stomachs back.
