What do y'all think is worse? Being hooked on the paci or bottle?
@cclark289, yea i my first born had a paci till like 8m i think but he didn't have an issue with letting it go but his bottle stuck around till about ten or eleven months then i got him a sippy cup but to ne he was so advanced an independent when it came to some things he was fully potty trained but 2years old went on him own every for the most part
Yea wen she use 2 stay wit me I took them all I didn't have a problem wit my daughter she just bit them and threw them away... hopefully my son will be the same way@sixplusones
@cclark289, but six is pushing it paaasstt the limit
@cclark289, Oh yeah, well dang. Hopefully she'll be off both soon.
I told her but got the whole it's my child talk
@mum2logi, Oh!!! Yes yes! She use to drink out of those! Those are what had her off bottles the first time. But she bit holes in them and I just never thought to buy her anymore. I'm going go now tho! Lol. Thank you!
See, she's a big girl lol. It does seem mostly a comfort thing at bedtime.
I understand though. That's how I am with my daughter and this dang pacifier. She's going to be two in a little over 3 months. 😩
@cclark289, She shouldn't even want her sucking one with her being that old.
@breloya, She drinks out of a cup during the day! She doesn't even drink out of a bottle at daycare during nap time! But when she gets home during bed time, she has to have a bottle or she'll cry for hours! But yes I think it's just a comfort thing like you said, I'm just ready for her to grow out of it! Lol
She lazy I've gotten all my niece and nephew and my daughter off pacifier and bottles wit in a week she the only one I'm having trouble wit
@mum2logi, No ma'am. Can you show me a picture of it? She has different cups that she drinks out of through the day but at night she won't drink out of it!
😂😂😂 it's a struggle. Have you tried switching to sippy cups? Or does she just not like the way they feel? Mine has a sippy cup of milk right before bedtime. I don't see a problem with it lol. That's the only time she has milk really. Any other time, it's food and water or juice out of cups. If she wants her bottle at bedtime, I don't think it's a big deal honestly. It's probably just a comfort thing.
She can her mom just refuses 2 take them even after I broke her from both of them
Oh lol well thats not too bad then. Do you have any of those trainer sippy cups that nuk makes? They're almost like a bottle nipple but slightly wider?
@cclark289, Lol, that's too old!! Can she not sleep without it or something?
Yup and I told her mom leave her wit me for a week I'll have her off I did then she moved and went right back 2 them
My niece is 6 and still has a pacifier and a bottle
@breloya, 😂😂😂 my child is the complete opposite!! She has to have her bottle during bed time!
Paci. I just threw all her bottles in the trash when she was like 9 months old and gave her sippy cups lol. She didn't have a problem with it at all. Paci is another story. 🤦🏽♀️ She turns demonic when she can't find the freaking thing.
@mum2logi, Oh it is! The only good thing is that she only needs it at bedtime.
@mum2logi, She was off the for awhile but then got back on them so now it's hard to get her back off 😫
If Logan wanted water or juice (he had the ok from Dr because he was always constipated) I only offered it in a sippy cup and we started using them at 6 months
I wouldn't know but I would think a paci. I see kids as old as 4 still sucking them. That would stress me out
@haleybae, Lucky!! My daughter didn't suck a paci either now we're working on getting off the bottle.
@mum2logi, My daughter didn't suck a paci but it's hard getting her off bottles now.
Bottle. I got lucky with an easy son. Off pascifier at 4 months and off bottles at 11
Yes my daughter was pretty much off everything before her first birthday wit out us having 2 take it I was okay wit everything
