Hi, wanted to introduce myself since I'm new here.
Im a mother of 1, his father has other children though that I love to death. Our roommate has 3 kids, that I see as my niece and nephews.
We have a room mate just because it makes life easier on her and us. She stays home and takes care of the house. She also watches our son while we work.
My lil man is almost 10 months old, and I can honestly say I have a love hate relationship with being a working mom.
Im career driven, have benen working in my chosen field for 6 years and had just landed an amazing job when we discovered I was pregnant. (ON MY 25th BIRTHDAY) I currently do security at Federal Buildings, and am in the process of getting into the police academy and getting my dream job.
I have no mother of my own to ask questions of in this venture called motherhood as mine passed away when I was 19. Thankfully I have friends who are very supportive and my ex boyfriends mom who still loves me and helps where she can.
I look forward to getting to know more of you!!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
