I used to be so salty with my BD. Hated his guts. Since we've been able to go into this clear headed and with no grudges, though, for our daughters sake, it's so much easier. We cooperate, no dirty looks, no awkwardness. If I need something for our daughter, he pitches in and helps. If he'll be short for helping, I tell him no worries, I got it. Doing this coparenting thing as an adult rather than an immature kid is so much easier and less stressful, especially when he follows the rules.
