My MIL keeps saying my baby it's gonna dry me out & I should give her formula. I don't shame no one for the way they provide the milk but, if I want to breastfed, why I need to supplement?
you do what you want so long as it dont hurt that baby. thats what my doctor said
she also saw my struggle though and wasnt afraid to tell me its ok to supplement.
I just couldnt produce, we tried ad tried, I felt like I was always connected to him or that pump. I drank water, mothers milk tea. I massaged, I did everything I was told...hes now exclusively on formula because in the end I had to get my baby food.
If you want to breast feed exclusively, do it. If you dont want to or cant, then dont. That is your choice.
The more you nurse the more milk you make. Nursing is supply and demand.
Babies typically drink 25-35 oz a day. So drink your normal amount of fluids plus enough to compensate for your loss while producing milk.
@andrea.herrington, thank you. I know. I drink my 4 bottles of water daily & I eat well. She just don't want me to breastfeed & I can't tell her nothing because then she thinks I'm being rude.
Your baby isn't going to "dry you out" I'm not sure why people say such things. Just remember to drink your water throughout the day if you're having an issue with dehydration. But otherwise, that's nonsense!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Thank you @hendersonkrista90. I produce enough for her. I just don't understand why I need to change my ways.
