Pissed over the fact that in some states (like mine) you can't decide to be induced, even when you can't take anymore. They'll make you wait until 42 weeks which I find inhumane. Like you have the choice to have an abortion but you can't choose to be induced at 39 weeks? What the hell. 😡

I wasn't induced til 10 days after my due date and it still led to a c section..... 30 hrs later. Induction seriously sucks you're better off waiting til you go into labor naturally anyway. My pregnancy was so easy but labor sucked. It doesn't go that way for everyone but t did for me

Think of it this way some woman would give anything to make it to then I will most likely never be able to go past 37 weeks otherwise I risk giving birth to a still born I would love to be able to go past my due date

It actually does make a different y'all. @aliakr, babies brain and lungs develop a lot in those last weeks. That's probably why the made that rule. The terms are different now. You aren't considered full term until 39+ weeks. 37-38 is early term and 34-36 is preterm now

My state was the same way, medically needed it but I couldn't do it until 39 weeks 😒 my doctor finally induced me exactly at 39 weeks. @melindaleigh123, just like my doctor said one or two weeks doesn't make much of a difference
Will they induce you at a certain week if you have preeclampsia?
if you have gestational diabetes do they induce early like is there a chance of something going wrong like with preeclampsia or no?
for you mommy's asking 39 weeks is the NATIONWIDE standard for induction you can ask to be induced at 39 weeks if B makes it to 39 weeks I will be induced

I understand what you are saying @melindaleigh123 that it's your body and if women can decide to have an abortion you should be able to decide to be induce at 39 weeks and I understand @mommysbabies that your just unable to have your babies past 37 weeks and you would love to but it's women that can't have children that doesn't stop the other women getting abortions so it's a double standard thing happening.. I've never carried any of my 5 children to term always been delivered between 35-37 weeks I never did anything to make myself go into labor that's just how my body is and they all got to stay with me and go home when I did none was taken to the nicu of given anything extra...When the doctors give you a EED they are just guessing even with a ultrasound cause all babies grow different that's why they don't do inductions unless needed it sucks cause you feel as tho your ready but that doesn't mean baby is just be patience we all knew this would be a waiting game lol good luck to you ladies is😉😀
