Idk how to take this in...the doctor told me that the skin on the back on my sons neck looks thicker than normal could be nothing. Then asks me if there are stillborns in my or my boyfriends families. My little brother was, he asked me to find out what the condition was called. I keep being told not to worry but idk how not to be scared.

Same thing happened to us and my husband also had a sister with Down Syndrome. She only lived for 56 days. Of course, we were really freaked out when they mentioned it. What was the actual measurement? I did my research and learned that the safe ranges for the NT measurement are all over the map. Literally. Like if I had been pregnant in Germany, our son's NT measurement would have actually been on the low end. Moral of the story: our son has no issues and is a perfectly, healthy, happy 9 month old boy. We also didn't do any genetic testing whatsoever and no extra ultrasounds.

What the hell? Why would he tell you like that? It very well could be nothing..I know its hard but just try to breathe. No sense in worrying over something you're not sure is an issue yet!
