One of my boys did that. Lost the baby hair on top. Looked funny, but babies lose their "baby" hair. Well, they lose most of it.
He has a appointment Monday I'ma ask @nerdy.mamacita @rhealize
Does he sleep up against anything when you put him down? It could just be from rubbing. My first had on on the back and top of his head cause he'd kick himself against the back if his crib. 😂 My youngest didn't even get hair until he was about a year old.
I agree with @nerdy.mamacita though, if you're really worried, there's no harm in asking his pediatrician at his next well baby check.

Don't worry, my daughter had a bald spot on her head too, and it started growing again once she started to roll and move around more!
