YASSS 🙌🏻 so much yes! This is so infuriating because my hubby is the same with his dad. This literally drives me bat shit crazy! We are adults with children and yet I still feel like his parents have the final say on our decisions. The fuck? Seriously cut the chord

@vegasmomma, I couldn't agree more! He was going to sell his truck because there is no insurance on it and it never gets driven and the baby can't fit because it's single cab so it's just taking up space and he was getting rid of it but his dad told him not too so now it's continuing to sit in our drive way collecting dust 😡

@proudmomma7, ugh yes we had the same situation with our house. We decided to move to the northwest part of our town because it's cheaper, about 30 minutes closer to work, and you got more house for your money. We had a beautiful one picked out in a perfect location but then within 24 hours he had talked to his dad and he convinced him to stay in the same part of town, in fact, FURTHER from where he works (an hour!!!) just because they have ALWAYS lived there. So guess where we moved to 😑 despite having firmly agreed we would not let them change our mind because it was OUR home. And his mom threw a fit because she didn't want to have to drive the 15/20 minutes if she ever wanted to visit (which she hardly does anyway now that we are less than a mile from her. We usually have to go to her)

My mil is like that. She's helped us a lot but when it comes to our life's she thinks she has a say.. She said i shouldn't get a therapy dog for so many reasons. Guess who got it today?!
