Finding out that I might have preeclampsia sucks Nst testing every week on the plus side I get to see baby's stubborn…

@mamatee, yes they are and I was told try drinking a coke too so the caffeine could help...I had started seeing spots and that's why I ended up going to labor and delivery, make sure if you get light headed or see spots to call your doctor

@mamatee my nst today was good I had a contraction while on there was only there for 20mins but I go back Tuesday

@mamatee, sorry to hear that! I had severe preeclampsia with my first! My advice is to take it easy and get plenty of rest I was so swollen til the point it hurt to even walk anywhere and I would swell up immediately if I was standing or walking for a period of time. Try to drink plenty of water too, but honestly it's just a waiting game, not trying to scare you ...I hope everything work out fine and I'm here if you need to talk

All this happened yesterday so I haven't had a cervix check I did have a ultrasound yesterday and he said everything looked good as far as fluid and my cervix looked closed@mamatee

oh OK yikes let's hope baby stays in there I haven't lost any of my plug yet but bh are annoying@asunaking15 do they give you ultrasounds and do cervix checks with you

@mamatee my doctor said based off all that plus me having more contractions and losing mucus that he is going to monitor me more to make sure I'm not going into preterm labor

@asunaking15 I go to a specialist every week plus my regular Dr. I've had 3 preterm babies my youngest was at 34 weeks and he's 4 now but my last pregnancy I went full term due to the progesterone shots and I'm taking them again so I help they kind of help. Did the seem concerned when they found the protein?

@mamatee oh okay because my visit yesterday they said I had protein and trace of glucose in my urine, and that I have to have nst twice a week starting tomorrow and I never had preterm labor or anything like that so I'm concerned.

@asunaking15 at my appointment today my blood pressure was to high and they found protein in my urine and my baby has been measuring small for how far I am not to mention the swelling in my feet and ankles

@dreamermom thanks hun this is new news for me I found out in the first trimester I have a anterior placenta and now this

Hope they can keep it under control! I delivered early due to severe preeclampsia, and it is a scary place to be! I'm here if you ever need to vent!
