Having trouble making new friends. Feeling depressed.
We moved to a new city 3 years ago and I still haven't made any new friends here. Ive been a stay at home for 8 years and I run my business from home. All my old friends are about 50 miles away now and I see them maybe 2x in 6 months. We all have very busy lives so I understand that the distance makes it hard to get together. I feel like maybe I've been so out of touch with interacting with adults, that it makes it hard for me to approach other moms and make friends. I smile and say hello to the other moms at my daughters school but they all seem to have their own cliques already. It sucks having to wait everyday until 11pm (when my husband comes home) to actually have an adult conversation, but even then it's not the same as venting to a girlfriend. 😥

@reaganmommy2015, lol I do the same. Right when my husband walks through the bedroom door and after I've asked him how his day was, I just unload my whole day and all my thoughts. I know my husband cares but his usual responses are: (for a good day) "oh nice babe" and then for a (bad day) "I'm sorry babe that sucks." 😒
