@avie, Colace you can buy at Target, Drugstore, etc. and yeah walking around is tough but it does help you to recover quicker (and they let you go home sooner). Also, ask the nurses for the abdominal binder! I wore mine day and night for 2 weeks and it really helps give you support and hold everything in after an abdominal surgery.

Congratulations! C-Section recovery is so tough, take it easy! Get as much help as possible for the first few weeks. And don't try to be a hero, TAKE THE PAIN MEDS. Or you will suffer and not be able to take care of your beautiful baby 😘
