My one year old still wakes up at least once in the night. My reaction is to feed him cause I'm thinking he's hungry/thirsty. At this point, is it a good idea to give him his cup still or let him cry it out until he falls asleep? What do you guys think?

I don't think you should let him cry it out, but also, is he waking from hunger or out of habit?
My daughter woke out of habit, so I just started leaving her a sippy cup filled with water in her bed for her if she woke in the middle of the night. It stopped her nightly wakings.

It's all about what you want to do as a mom. We did cry it out (Ferber method) and it really worked for us. But that doesn't mean you have to. If you think he's hungry, trust your instinct.

I honestly think he wakes up out of habit because we would usually feed him or give him his cup. But I feel like babies usually wake up for a reason, either for comfort, diaper change, hunger, etc. I would feel bad for letting him cry it out.
