Idk why but im so emotional lately and ive been crying alot about not feeling appreciated enough my by boyfriend . I just had his baby, our baby. I cook for him, clean after him, make him lunches for work, i take care of the baby all through the night and during the day while he works, i tell him how much i love him and compliment him. Im not out cheating on him, telling lies, or abandoning him and our son. Theres barely any good women out there and i feel like he takes what i do for granted. I dont talk to other guys, i stay home all day. Like what else do i have to do ? I feel so alone sometimes. He used to be so sweet and amazing when we started dating 2 years ago. He sent me letters, we barely ever fought... it was perfect. I cry because im trying so hard to keep my son happy and he cries and i feel like even with the baby im not good enough so i feel like complete shit

I felt the same way for a long time. Unappreciated, taken for granted, etc. You're doing your best and that's all you can do! If you can, let someone take the baby for a bit and you and him sit down and have a talk. Babies are a lot of work, and they can definitely strain a relationship! You shouldn't have to do it all on your own. He should be helping when he can. Don't let him tell you "Oh, I work all the time, it's only fair you take care of the baby." That's what my boyfriend did and it's complete BS. He helped make that baby, he needs to help raise him, too, simple as that.

Babies cry, hun. It's natural. Especially when they're super small! They just spent almost 10 months in your belly, snuggled up and comfortable in a warm, quiet place. They get into the world and it's so new to them, that they don't know what to do, so they cry. It's the only way they can communicate. Don't be discouraged. 🙂 I went through the exact same thing. She would cry for what seemed like no reason, and I would start crying because I didn't know what I was doing wrong. When in reality, I wasn't doing anything wrong, she was just being a baby. If he cries even after he's been changed and fed, check and make sure he isn't gassy, or too tired. If he isn't, then he might just want his mama to hold him and snuggle him real tight. 💗

Also, postpartum hormones are even crazier than regular hormones lol. The first month or two is an absolute emotional rollercoaster. If things haven't settled down by your 6 week appointment with your doctor, let them know how you're feeling and they'll be able to help.

@scurlock.mommy thankyou so much for commenting. I just really need some advice and support. I dont understand, guys are akways complaining they can never find a good woman. But when they do, they take it for granted.
