Cloth diaper moms: what detergent do you use? I am looking to switch to a more natural and non toxic detergent. We are currently using tide original powder. We have soft-medium water tia:)
@kmharr3, oh ok. How about seventh generation products? I hear they're good for cloth diapers
I was looking into all free and clear but I heard that it causes build up on your diapers pretty quick
@mommy.to.landon
Ever since changing to ALL clean and clear, my sons eczema has gone down and a lot has disappeared
There's also seventh generation products as well as ALL clean and clear that has no dyes and is great for sensitive skin! My sons pedi recommended that
Thanks for letting me know I wasn't even aware about grading! 👀
Dreft ingredients. Fragrance, propylene glycol, ethanolamine, ethanol, sodium hydroxide, diethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol 4000 (which Skin Deep scores as 5-8), and about a dozen other ingredients make up the “gentle” clean of Dreft. EWG score: D-F, depending on formula.
@kelseynyc, looking for a A-B EWG score
Laundry detergent....
So as I was buying detergent for my little one I was thinking well if were buying a detergent that's free of perfume and dyes for our baby then should we use it as well? Since baby will be in our arms a lot and around our clothing. ..right now we use gain because we love the smell and I'm a sucker for great smelling detergent but is it in our best interest to stop using it?
Does it really matter if we use baby laundry detergent...?
Baby detergent? What are we using?
