Yeah, if I weren't past a year, I wouldn't dream of weaning him but at almost 15 months, and knowing weaning him gently will take months, I don't feel as bad.

@katielong2316 lol I'm glad they have their own day cause they'll be sharing birthday parties lol and that's how I was I made him stop nursing cause I couldn't take it anymore then after my second came he wouldn't latch on but he'd drink it from a cup if I pumped. I'm getting the same feeling this time around but my second is so much younger and I refuse to give him formula so I just suck it up lol

@skyy12221, Oh my gosh that is too funny about their birthdays! I would love to tandem nurse but I don't know if I'll make it that long. He is such a comfort nurser and I am getting to the point where I'm like, "GET OFF ME FOR ONE SECOND PLEASE" lol. I feel too bad to tell him no though so I may make it longer than I think

That's how my first and second were. I got pregnant when my oldest was 15 months and nursed him 5 months into my pregnancy I chose to stop him but he also ended up weaning at the same time too. I ended up having my second the day before my oldest turned 2. Now I'm pregnant with baby 3 and still nursing my 7 month old and I plan to tandem nurse.
