My husband and I always tend to help anyone who needs it. Rather it's our last 5$ to a place to live. I just got my childhood friend and her two kids out on their own and that wasn't the first time she lived with us but she's my best friend so I helped her. My husbands sister who is on drugs asked us to either go get her and take her where she needs to be or let her stay here cuz she got stuck going to visit her po. I said no because I would like to wake up with all my stuff tmrw. Then right before my husband left for work a someone msgd him asking him if he could stay with us. We don't have a spare room now as it became the baby's room. I don't know if this kid is clean and sober so I said no. I hate that feeling as I feel like it's gods way of telling me that is my calling to help the people in need. But now that I'm pregnant I'm not able to defend myself and my kids like I use to. My husband is the only one working and I know he's stressed about it and I don't need him taking care of another in helping person as I have done it to much and we end up screwed over. My husband says I'm being mean but he's not mad. So am I being mean should I just take in everyone who needs it. I'm not running a hostile....

Me and my husbands are the same way but you have to take care of your family first so don't feel bad for that..... me and my husband recently have away a jeep that we had that ran and drove when we really needed the money from selling it and we help or family out all the time and never get help in return

@jasthorpe413, that's how it always is for us. I let my sister live with me cuz I raised her since she was little. She moved out and is now getting married and having twins. I help her all the time and get ready I know it's petty but to me it bothers me she never asked me to be in the wedding and she is having our bio dad that sexually abused me and she claimed he did her too. The only person that never screwed us over was my friend. My own mom and step dad screwed us over multiple times they lived with me but I couldn't tell them no as they have kids the same age as mine. @mommysbabies, if my yard didn't flood I would be the smart ass to say that. But it's been raining for a week.
