Are you having a baby's shower?

I'm not sure if I'm going to have one..I heard its someone that's suppose to through baby shower for you..but I don't have anyone close to me to do that all family lives overseas.. Someone from daddy side said they would but she seems she doesn't want to.. So now am not even sure if I should through one for myself
