Hi moms I have recently started a new job where I'm as a desk for 10 hrs a day which is polar opposite of what I'm used to being a mom of a 2 & 3 yr old that being said I have put on quite a bit of weight since starting this new job any tips on how to get it back off

Start waking up early and try to fit in a workout before work. If you wait until after, you'll likely be too tired to do it effectively.
- Eat clean, healthy foods and try avoiding anything with added sugar, any soda, and convenient foods like fast food or gas station lunches.
-Take as many chances you can to get up and walk around a bit at work.
-find out if your office has any exercise or fitness challenges that let you exercise at work. A lot do, and it's very helpful. Plus you'll have motivation and encouragement from your co workers.
-try to get enough sleep every night. Rest is extremely important for recovery and repair. Not enough sleep impairs your body's ability to regenerate.
Even 30 minutes of strength building exercise three times a week will get you on track. Add at least 20 minutes of cardio on days you do strength training, and at least 30 on days you don't. Take about two rest days a week from both types.
Good luck, girl! You can do it!

Girl I don't know the first thing about dieting and I'm working 1030am to 930 pm if I get out on time which rarely happens lol when I'm not there I'm spending every waking moment with my babies since my brother died I haven't worked and my daughter was only 1 and my son only 4 mos it's been almost 3 years already so they aren't used to mommy not being there and it's affecting all of us

It's not too hard to get into. 😊 just shop fresh(fruits and veggies, whole grains, lean meats, beans, nuts, olive or coconut oils for cooking) and cook meals for the week ahead of time so you don't spend too much time cooking. Clean eating basically means having your foods as close to their natural state as possible before bringing them home.
As for exercise, YouTube has some great "mommy and me" style videos for exercising with your kids! That way you don't have to feel like you're taking more time away from them. Cardio can be just going for a walk with them, too!

On the other note, I'm sorry for your loss and that it's been so hard on everyone 🙁 it's even more tough when they aren't old enough to understand why quite yet.

Thank you I appreciate the tips and he wasn't just my brother he was my very best friend the best uncle you could ask for more like a father to my daughter she actually called him daddy most of the time because their dad wasn't in the picture they always say you have 1 soulmate and part of me feels like I've lost mine he did everything for not only me and my kids but my mom as well they lived together he did all the home maintenance and car maintenance anything u could think of he could do it that's where I found him was my moms home and it got to the point where I couldn't go in her house because I had severe ptsd and so I bought a home and moved her in with us it's great to have help with the kids but and girl who was a teen was remembers how it was living with your mom so that's about where we are now sorry to give you my whole life story lol but it's nice to vent about it

So sorry I never got back on to reply. Kids you know. I don't mind reading a good vent now and then, so you don't need to apologize. 😊 I can't even imagine how hard that is. I've never lost anyone close to me. I'm glad you're working through it, though. And I hope things only look up from here.

Grief therapy helps quite a bit I was totally against it for the longest time but once I started it has made me a better mom I think
