Ladies I want your opinions. I go home to visit in July/August. I will have a decent sized belly. And if everything is on track with this pregnancy I should know the gender by then. Originally I was wanting to hold out on knowing the gender and have my Dr put it in an envelope and have someone back home do the gender reveal for me. But I was also wanting a baby shower. We recently moved here so we don't know anyone and family is too far to throw one out here. My question is should I do an "early baby shower" back home when I go so we can have family attend? Or just gender reveal?

If we do gender reveal here I could video chat with family, but if I don't do the baby shower while home I won't get one. Just wanting opinions. My mother is willing to do either of them for me.
