Very true. I'm just going off of what CPSTs in a car seat group I'm in always say.

@beebaby, actually it is about age. At 10yrs old the kid should still be in a high back booster because they can't pass the 5 step tests and the seat belts don't fit on their body correctly

Ty is 36.4 lbs and Dan Dan is 38.2 lbs @beebaby

@beebaby we still have our sons in convertible car seats because of their weight. Just figured since Baby Mac is on the smaller side he will be in a convertible car seat.

This is the seat we have for my son and just bought another one for our soon to be. We love it.

I have a two door car so I had some issues finding one that would fit in my car. I ended up going with a safety 1st guide 65 - it goes up to 40 lbs rear facing and then 65 lbs forward facing. They're a lot cheaper than some others and amazon has a lot of nice colors and patterns (I went with a black one but the pattern is still really nice!) when I got it installed Sunday I asked my tech if it was a good seat and he said he actually used the same brand for his twins cuz he needed 3 across the back seat (he has 3 kids)

It's easy to clip them in. But have to push a decent amount to get them out. I find it as a good thing knowing they can't escape on there own. My son has always had an issue with escaping his car seats on his own and I finally found this on that is to hard for him to work.

@jessicalyn is it super difficult to click?

I freaking LOVE graco car seats! Never have had a problem with them. They are very hard to click the red button but that's a plus in my eyes. I highly recommend from my experience.
