I try so hard not to pick him up from his crib when he is crying in the middle of night... He is 18 months old. ..i try to ignore him but it is so hard...im too sleepy and tired

If your mama instincts are telling you to pick him up there's probably a reason mama :) listen to your instincts. Check out the book attachment parenting. I really recommend it. It's a different perspective and a different option than the cry it out method
