Ugh - so bummed. Did a 1 hour non fasting early glucose test and was at 153 - cutoff is 140. Waiting for a call from the doctor now since I'm sure I'll have to go do the 3 hour fasting test.

They didn't give me instructions so I assumed that meant I could eat. I ate low carb and high protein a couple hours before the test.
I was told not to eat anything at all the day I took it, even if it's healthy like eggs and I passed the first time

When you have to do the 3 hour glucose test, you only have to fast for 8 hours before the first blood draw, right?
I just failed my 1 hour glucose test. My dr considers up to 139 as passing. My number was 140. 🤦🏼♀️ I’m taking the 3 hour fasting on Friday.

Good luck. For my 1hr glucose i never had to fast. Every doctor has different requirements for some reason.
