Just woke up and have a head ache. This always happens when i have to fight for sleep.

Same problem. I try sucking down water but it doesn't help. I end up feeling hung over all day.

@2-mommies i take two tylonal and thats it. I dont know what a hang over feels like though. Ive never had one.

I just feel really dehydrated and like no amount of water changes it. I don't take any medication of any kind no matter what. I know certain ones are allowed, I personally just don't want to take it. The only one I allow is Benadryl bc I have certain nut allergies

@2-mommies i take the meds if i have to. I dont like doing it, but i cant let it keep me in the bed either. I have college work i have to do.

@2-mommies because my school knew about the baby before i started im lucky, because starting next term which is in 2 weeks, ill be going part time only taking 1 class for the next 2 terms. Which is a total of 10 weeks.

That's awesome that you're keeping up with your education! What are u going to school for?

@2-mommies Buisness Adminastration. Im doing a full online degree. Its a 4 yr degree that im getting in 2 yrs. The baby will be 1 by time i get the degree, but it covers all aspects of buisness so ill be able to get virtually any job position i want. Because of this and the baby i have the hours and days set that i want to work and im not willing to budge. So ill just keep applying to places after the babys born until i get a place that will let me work the hours i want.

@2-mommies sweet! Ive always wanted to own my own buisness so its part of the reason why im getting this degree. Not only that its because even though i want to go back and work as a mechanic i know i cant. Its not impossible as a mother, but if you continued to be a mechanic as a mother you would forfit your time with your child. Because the sad part about being a mechanic is that you spend more time in the shop rather than at home. Thats why mechanics refer to their fellow workers as family, and why the shop is our home away from home. When i was working in a shop, since i was getting paid hourly i was working 6 days a week from open to close. So 7:30-7, even sometimes staying until almost 9 to get work done. Yes i was making good money. Yes my boss that i had would be flexable if i came back and worked for him with a child, but all in all id still be in the shop more than at home.

I know im not the only woman that works in the automotive feild, but as soon as our baby came into the picture i knew what it ment now to be in it. As a woman, if you want to work in a shop all your life you basically cant have a family. Its almost impossible. Thats why im getting this degree though. My long term goal is to open up mine and my husbands own automotive shop. (Hes a mechanic as well) that way i dont have to forfit what i live doing completely, and that way i can still be a proper mother and be there for my child.
