Docs aren't crazy about midwives, for sure. Are you having a home birth or going to a birth center

I want a home birth more than anything but they don't do that here. I have to go to the hospital. They do have a tub I can use for labor but I have to give birth in the bed. @charong

@2-mommies, wow! I had a home birth for our second. It was much better than pushing on those weird hospital beds. I think sometimes they say you can't birth in the tub but will let you in the moment.

I plan on not leaving my house till after my water breaks. I'm going to stay home as long as I possibly can without having an accidental unassisted home birth. It really is upsetting that I can't have a home birth bc this is my last one and I should be able to decide how and where he comes into this world@charong

@2-mommies, exactly! It's getting harder and harder now. We're not in LA anymore but there was only one doctor who would be a back up doctor for our home birth.

I was researching unassisted home births and it's alegal but my wife would probably freak out. So unfortunately the closest I can come is wait till the last possible second to leave lol @charong
