Advice, please? I want your opinions. I love my kids and I always take them everywhere I go. We go to the park while daddy is at work and I love playing with them. But I want me time. I want to go on dates with husband and night out once a year with friends. My family and husband says I'm selfish and I don't love them enough cause if I did I would never leave them ... Am really being selfish? I feel really bad with myself... If everyone says it...
Us Momma's NEED us time so that we can be the best Momma's we can be! Definitely not selfish! Sounds like they must not ever take care of themselves. Sometimes putting you first is better for them
Uh.. that's very rude & hateful for someone (esp family) to tell you that you don't love your kids...
There is absolutely nothing wrong with a mom doing for herself every now and then.
Most mom's get 15-30.mins a day to themselves because their SO realize they need a break to. You have to be sane/okay, in order for everyone else to be okay. Mom's that don't get a chance to have time for themselves often times fall into depression, which makes them not be okay and almost regret being a mom..(I have a friend who never, ever, gets a break because her husband is a self centered jerk)
She has 2 year old twins and a 4 year old. She stays severely upset, and isn't the mother she wants to be because she can't ever think for two seconds for herself, without a baby climbing on her or screaming/crying.
Just because you don't physically get up and go to work, doesn't mean you don't have a job. If you don't get up and take care of the kids everyday, then who else is going to do that JOB?
See my point?
You do have a job. While everyone else gets the weekends off, gets to leave their job everyday, and gets a BREAK..your job never ends. @aradyluz31
Well still, we clean and cook and are busy. It's nice to just get out for a few hours child less. I never do cause I don't like burdening my parents to watch the baby even though they love too. I just feel bad cause he's my responsibility and his dad is never around to help. But my mom encourages me to go out with friends or on dates. Don't let them get to you. It's not like you want to do it every night. It's like once a month. They need to chill out.
@missjess, they just go "you don't work and your kids are at school all day you have plenty of time" what bothers me the most is my husband say it too
Don't feel bad! They are wrong. Any person would tell you it's good to get out once in awhile without your children! We need breaks too. It's important. So people don't see that and just expect you to be a mom full time 24/7 365 days a year and that's how we get burnt out.
No! My doctor told me it's important to have you time a couple times a week. This is something I never do cause I'm a single mom. But really it is important to do things just for you sometimes so you can recharge and be better for your children.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
