Q2 @weeyogismommy please tell us how Wee Yogis began. Why is music and yoga so important to growing kids? What age can we start our kids with yoga? #momlifechats
toddlers learn through song. Through repetition and melody kids are able to easily remember things. So music is a great tool. And overall music makes people feel good. We sing lullabies to babies to soothe, as adults we watch concerts and symphonies to make us feel good and alive! We need music and it feeds our souls. And Yoga and mindfulness is important for all ages! But in our world today with over stimuli, kids need grounding and calming exercises. It’s important to teach kids this early so they can learn how to manage their feelings and stress.#momlifechats
In 2008 I was going to a friends baby shower and I wanted to bring her a present that could help teach her baby about positive things like; yoga philosophy, and teachings on love, being present, being kind, overall mindfulness. Anyway, there was nothing that I could find!) And later that week I woke up singing this silly yoga song, Cat Cow (which is on my first album) and I knew then, this was is, I’m going to release a Kids yoga album. So Wee Yogis Started with the first album Wee Yogis Play, and from their on I release two more albums and then we became a certified school to teach parents and teachers how to teach yoga to kids.#momlifechats

Any moms do yoga from home ?
My kids always tackle me but I guess the extra weight they add helps. my little ones favorite move 😆the down dog 🐶 💗

ARIES: Warrior mom to lots of kids
Did bouncing and rolling on a yoga ball help any mom's go into labor?
I hate when people can’t control their kids. Went to the dentist the kids just climbing all over stuff, bothering people and messing with this women’s hair. Raising my son to be respectful and not be a pest to people because it takes the right person to say something to the kid and here the parents go getting mad.

BOUNCING ON YOGA BALL ACTUALLY WORKS OR NO??? Thoughts??? Lol..
At my Wee Yogis Classes and events I have babies as young as 4 months. Side note: During that age, Yoga is great for their digestive track and to get things moving. But because we sing the songs with them and they are able to remember and learn by the time they are 1 years old they can sing some of the melodies and do some of the poses. It’s amazing!#momlifechats
