Venting time: PEOPLE ARE SO AWFUL! So yesterday I witnessed a employee at Picture People get treated awful. The lady was Hispanic, but didnt know Spanish. So this hispanic guy comes up to her and i guess asked her about the packages. Of course the lady doesnt know spanish so he starts going off on her. Pretty much making her feel bad, because she doesn't know Spanish. Then he has the audacity and tells her that it's a disgrace that she is Hispanic but doesn't know Spanish. She then looked at me embarrassed. Oh I was about to loose it with this guy.I didnt loose it because my parents taught me well not to disrespect my elders. I then apologized because he was so ignorant. Not everyone is taught to speak Spanish I was lucky that both my parents taught me but not everyone has the advantage that many of us have. Plus I'm not trying to be mean or anything but if you dont know how to communicate with others why not get English classes or someone to translate for you. Instead of being a douche. Plus you kinda are in America where the majority speak English.
@chibiytino, Yes! I took Spanish classes in high school and it sucks all this slang that is out there! Because I know a lot of words and sentences (especially in comparison to some white people lol) but when I hear some people speak Spanish I'm like, "oh shit, what??" 😂 (also I think it's the accent as well that makes it sound different to me). But I guess when it comes to English we can't say much about slang because I know there's a lot out there as well lol. Like I say the word "Y'all" a lot (Texan mom, obviously) so I'm not complaining because I use some slang as well though 😂.
I totally agree with you! If I were to move somewhere, (let's give an example of Germany), I would NEED to learn German! Yeah, it would take awhile but I would still TRY. And that's just ridiculous that he would act that way. It's great that she knew English! If she wants to learn Spanish then it's up to herself if she wants to. Now if she were to move to Spain or Mexico, then she would definitely have to learn Spanish lol.
@chibiytino It's nice to know both languages I agree my mom came from Mexico here not knowing English but she worked her butt off! Now she works at a top petrolum corporation. We had that advantage to learn Spanish now its great because I know both. My husband knows both as well so of course were teaching my son, but unfortunately not many have that great opportunity and get harrased by it. Which in my view its harsh.
Bastard he should pick a different profession. Customer service isn't his thing
When I came to the USA when I was 7 I didn't know Jack shit lol but of coursed I had to learned English ..Later on in life at age 19 when I met my boyfriend I learned that I didn't even know how to speak Spanish "right" I would mostly use slang anyways the thing is in my point of view ! Please correct me if am wrong but as a Hispanic mother of a baby boy he has to know both languages one is because I don't want him to ever forget who he is and where he's from, English is also the most popular language out there! . It was rude of the man who act like a child & as a mother we should always teach our kids both languages ..m
@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom yes I just couldn't believe it.
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
So ladies I don't know if you remember on here there was a girl who lost her little boy called archer who died from SIDS?? I just found her on Instagram to discover it wasn't her child it was in fact her nephew?????? I've looked for her on here but she seems to delete her page I don't know if it's because anyone else found out she was lying but I'm literally GOBSMACKED as she wrote a blog and everything about it? Please tell me I wasn't the only deceived by this??
So it's hard for me because my 16 year old past the test when she was in third grade and my niece passed it last year and now all my daughter's friends will be going to the third grade and she will be repeating and I don't want to send her back to the same school to be bullied because she has to repeat a grade and so I'm looking into other schools but see the thing is you teach her something she gets it then you go back to it and she like I don't know it so frustrating and she likes to wonder of...
