This is an interesting situation. Are there parts left out? Personally, I think if anyone punches or slaps anyone else - that's ground to be punched/slapped back. Is your "friend" making passes at you, do y'all have a history together? If you're in a relationship with someone it's not really "your life" anymore. Respect yourself, your partner and your relationship. If he asks you not to do something and you don't agree with it, discuss it with him. Shutting it down like that is only going to cause more friction. Communication is a major key of a successful relationship. If your man is insecure about you talking to another guy, talk to him about it. If he were talking to another woman, I'm sure you would want him to talk to you about it.

When it comes to showing too much skin, I feel like it's disrespectful to dress in a way that's exposing yourself to other people. It's an invitation for people to gawk. Maybe save the skin showing for your partner.

I'm not going to tell you to leave him because none of us know the entire story, just one side. If you feel like you need to do something about it, you need to make that decision on your own & not with the help from strangers.

@kmechellec, true I took it as I would want someone to tell me the way you said it it just shows responsibility,and equality most people never ask about the whole story and jump on the bandwagon and end up persuading people to thinking there right instead of analyzing the situation

@kjw21413, I've been in a shitty situation like that & I was naive. I let people make my mind up before & I shortly realized how big of a mistake it was. Having gone through that, I try to speak from experience in a mature way. All feelings aside, ya know?
