I just had a bowel movment and when i wiped it was very slippery so i looked and theres a clear slime kinda the consistancy of snot on the toilet paper. And it was hanging from my private area. I couldnt get a good pic but i tried. Is this just discharge?..

I had the same thing. I'm not exactly sure what it was but I assumed it was normal. I only experienced it tho when my poo wasn't exactly solid.

Did it come from your rectum or vagina?? Cause if it came from your vagina it's most likely your mucus plug

@lilbensmomma @tashamagolan im not sure :/ i couldnt tell it caught me off guard. I think my vagina from where it looked like it was hanging. Would i be having contractions tho?

You can lose part of it and not be in labor for a few days

Parts of your mucus plug can fall out and then grow back, you don't exactly "lose" your mucus plus until you see what's called "a bloody show" which happens usually right before you go into labor.

I lost parts of my mucus plug like a month before, then a week before & then finally the day of.. So really just depends I mean as long as you have no contractions & water hasn't broke

Looks like your plug
