So today I just found out that me and my daughter have lice 😷 I have been itching my head for a month already but I thought it was just my shampoo because I changed shampoos and the itching started right at that time. My hair has been super knotted because I wear my hair up and with the itching and everything so today I brushed my hair while I had conditioner in the shower and that's when I noticed I was brushing out lice! My mom advised me to use dish soap and I did, it seemed to help some because there was lice on the towel I used to dry my hair after rinsing the soap... does anyone have any suggestions?? I'm thinking of using mayo tonight!!
Tree tea oil is also good to keep them away once clean. Do a hot treatment to your hair with coconut oil. You put it on your hair and dry it with hair dryer on high heat and then straight with straightener. Do it for 3 days straight works great. A lot of the lice have become immune to lice shampoo.
But teatree oil and put 3 drops in your shampoo. It kind of stinks but it works it's what my mom always used on me and my sister if we got lice
Definitely will! I've put mayo in my hair before as just a hair mask! I also boiled all the brushes I could find, even the ones I've never used in my life lol! Its weird because my daughter hasn't even been itching her head or anything but when I checked her she had some. Right now I'm washing the blankets and I vacuumed my daughters carpet and her bed lol
Mayo works wonders. Chemical free and way cheaper. Put from root to tip at night cover with shower cap and wash the next morning it suffocates the lice and eggs and makes your hair feel silky
Smells awful but vinegar work wonder with getting the nits out let it sit for not even 5 mins and when you comb through they slide right off
