Is it wrong for me to feel upset that my birthday is tomorrow and my fiance decided to pick up a work shift instead of spending it with me? He's a firefighter so I understand the importance of his job but its the one day of the year that is supposed to be remotely about me.I spent last years birthday alone too. Its just tiring.

I'm sorry! My husband always works on mine. It's rare when he has a day off. I'm used to it. Just make his day off about you. Make up for it.
