I'm writing a paper on co sleeping. What are you'll opinion on it? Agree disagree or it all depends on how the parent do it?
We put our son in the crib the first few nights home but he wouldn't stay and honestly it was much easier having him in bed with us. We put his crib next to our bed and just started putting him to sleep in it two weeks ago. Four nights he did well and slept through the night but then he started waking up crying.
I bed share with my daughter. I'm a light sleeper and she sleeps on top of me. I also wake up every few hours. My daughter had acid reflux when she was a month old. Sleeping together made things easier, she didn't want to sleep until 5-7am and at that point it made things easier to just bed share.
I use to be the person who was so against co sleeping when I got pregnant. I was very adamant about my baby sleeping in her own bed from birth. Until... my baby got mild acid reflux at 2 1/2 months. It saved my life! Now at almost 7 months, I rather cuddle with her than my husband 😌. But I still wouldn't have co slept with her has a newborn. She was just too small.
It All depends on the preferences of the parent. Personally, it's not for us lol. She rolls and kicks and slaps and I wake up bruised and not rested lol. I know lots of people who love to, though! We can't even have her in the same room as us bc my boyfriend snores and it wakes her up.
Co sleeping is when your baby is in a crib or bassinet next to your bed. Bed sharing is when you sleep with baby in bed. I'm for both of these as long as it's done safely
It wasn't for me I never actually slept because I was so worried to roll on him I know my mom is against it because she has seen many babies come into her hospitals she worked at due to someone rolling over on baby and the baby dying
He is four months old and just now getting in his crib. I was nervous having him in our bed but we have a king size which made it a little easier for him to have room.
