Do any other mommas supplement breast milk and formula?

I did in the beginning because I wasn't producing enough breast milk for my little one and because she has a heart condition the formula was helping her gain weight.

Yeah I do but I can't wait until she's off of it! I would love to ebf

@asotelo, @elysiansmama, @ilovemypumpkindoodle, when do you guys give the bm and when the formula? Lucia doesn't know how to nurse so I'm pumping and formula cause she isn't gaining enough weight and she is a little jaundice

I always nurse first then use formula. When I was in the hospital after labor the lactation consultant said to nurse (in your case bottle feed breast milk) first then give formula

My daughter had jaundice too 😰

I do. And I agree with @elysiansmama, Breastfeed first then formula later. You can supplement every other feeding. I had to because I wasn't producing enough and my daughter lost a lot of weight from birth.
