We only let her have it at nap time, and bed time... soon I'm hoping to eliminate those as well... but when we go in to get her up, I ask her to give it to me before I'll get her out of bed... she fussed about it at first, but when she refused to give it up I said okay you must want to sleep more and would start to walk out of her room... she would say UP! And I would say if you want to get up you have to give me the paci! After 2-3 times of me walking away, her desire to get out of bed became stronger than her desire to have the paci! So she eventually surrenders it!

Just take it and don't give it back. We had to do that with bottles. It'll be rough the first few days, but she will forget about it!
