My dad walked in and out of my life when it was convenient for him my entire life. And now I'm living with that pain forever. Cut ties and blocked him on everything because I couldn't deal with it anymore. He had every opportunity to be in my life and now he gets to miss out on his grandsons

My stepdads kids have been filled with so much lies from their mother they don't want anything to do with him and the last time he got to spend time with them was when they were 8 years old.

I cannot begin to explain how much I can not stand mothers like this. Where they blame the dad when it's them. When they contradict themselves so much saying you can see them whenever you want but yet whenever never comes because when it's brought up it's shut down. Or when they don't give them enough time to prove they want to be there but need to better themselves first.

Some people really don't know what a deadbeat dad is. You wanna see one talk to my dad and ask him my favorite color. He can't tell you. But I'll bet he'll brag about how he bought me an iPhone in high school leaving out the fact he then disappeared again for months without contact. There's a difference between someone who's a deadbeat and someone who's just trying to get on their feet so they can be in their children's lives. Learn this before you blame them.
