Okay moms, I have a question I really need honest answers on and I don't want anyone being rude. I use to have a drug problem (it's over now) but I was wondering if any mom's who struggled with addiction had the epidural and what it was like?
If u are adiccted to needles and how they feel and the after affect don't do it
Everyone is right on an epi! It works in the spine to block nerve signals so you lose sensation from epi site and down. You won't get any euphoria or any other narcotic-like side effects.
Best thing to do is talk to your Dr and the team at the hospital about your concerns! That way they won't give you anything later on that does have relapse potential.
Hope that isn't redundant and helps :)
What a great question! An epidural is a nerve block and would not cause a relapse if that's what you're worried about. It's nothing like an IV needle. I always felt like something was being hammered into my back. I opted out with my first baby 13 years ago and went with stadal instead, but that's a narcotic so I wouldn't recommend that. I had an epidural with the other two that I delivered full-term. I didn't have an weird side effects, but the first time, I did have a minor panic attack because I wasn't expecting that level of NUMB. 😂😂😂
I believe the epidural is more of a numing agent then an actual pain med.. I think FTM myself. But that's what I seem to get from it.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Because it would have the same feelings
