Not gonna lie.. I thought being induced early was okay.. But when it happened to me because of PreEclampsia.. And Dehydration.. At 37 weeks..I soon realized.. Woah.. My body.. And my baby was forced into something that they was not ready for. I know now that being induced should only be for emergencies.(which mine was..). Not because we as women decide its time. Being induced was hard. And I was soon told after that if I would have waited till 40 weeks my labor would have been easier on me and my child. Summer Rayne ended up with readmittions into the hospital with high jaundice..her little feet were pricked over and over for bili tests. Spread awareness. Early inductions sounds awesome... Because your so anxious to hold that sweet baby.. But truthfully.. They are dangerous.. Wait.. Be patient.. Dont rush your body.. It knows when its time for baby to come.. And dont rush that baby.. It knows when its ready to make an entrance.
I was induced at 33w2d, for the same reason... my preeclampsia was severe, and literally came out of no where! My body had already begun dilating, it was going to get the baby out no matter what... I'm SO thankful that the technology exists that allowed us both to make it through all of that safely! I'm planning on having everything ready for this baby by 33 weeks, just to be safe... but praying I make it full term!
Yes i loved being pregnant. I find myself missing it! Haha! @aliakr. But i love my Summer being here to. Just means ill be ready to have another baby when God blesses me with one
Thank god it's illegal in Hawaii till 39 weeks! Not even 37 but 39. Unless something's wrong. Pregnancy is never to uncomfortable to risk your babies life ... I actually enjoyed my pregnancy lol it was easier than now... @megansuesellers2015,
@aliakr uhm i guess it depends on state or something because I swear you should hear all the bullcrap reasons women around here get induced!
@traciurbina Right. I agree. I mean there has to be somewhere in between. You know. I understand.
I went to 42 weeks and had to have a c section because my contractions were 5 minutes apart and I couldn't dilate so my sons heart rate was decreasing. While I totally agree that you shouldn't be induced early, I wish I had been induced at 40 weeks to give my body a fighting chance.
Yeah that's terrible 34 weeks isn't term :(. I was supposed to be induced at 37 weeks because I had gallstones an I needed surgery ASAP but I needed to give birth first. Thankfully I was able to last atleast till 39 weeks. But man was my gallbladder infected. Isn't it illegal to induce before 39 weeks unless medically nessesary ? @megansuesellers2015,
@paparazzimom223. Same they monitored my blood pressure for weeks and the goal was to get me to 37 weeks. But they checked my protein in 24 hr urine tests twice before and I never showed pre e till the night that I went into early labor. I started having contractions while looking at a house went into er nd it was pre e and dehydration causing my contractions. So after hours of liquids and needles and blood tests and urine samples.. I got the word i was getting induced. It was just a tough time. Then i think of people who choose induction and im like whyyyyy???
@kianaracquel. Agreed! Your a strong soul! And woman! Congrats! That is a huge accomplishment! Not to many people could say they would do the same! And your right! Like I said I was one of the ones who thought the earlier the better, how dumb was I!? Wish I could have went to 40 but I am proud of myself and my baby! We pulled through! We made it! And she is big.. Healthy 5 month old now!
Yeah i miss it too. And thats okay I am literally talking about I know some women schedule early inductions at 34 weeks just to have their baby on their moms uncles birthday.. Ridiculous unhealthy causes are stupid. We as women should think of the baby. And my labor wasn't7 smooth.. My baby had complications.. So i know that even at 37 weeks i wish i could have went to 40 and at 37 weeks is term. You know@aliakr
I was induced 39 weeks for my baby showing signs of stress during contractions. It actually went really smoothly my body took it well didn't have any bad things happen I had it naturally. her jaundice lasted a few weeks but she was okay. I wish I would've been able to go longer I miss being pregnant lol
A lot of these women will be in their feelings and won't take the time out to read the whole post. I completely agree with you. I was on bed rest since I was 4 months I was miserable but I wanted my whole 40 so he could bake as long as he needed. I wanted him to be healthy. I was induced anyway due high blood pressure. That's a pain I don't wish on anyone. But I made it through it.
@dreamermom prayers with you for this pregnancy!!!! Congrats!!
