Technically you can, but it's rare. I was on it for 3.5 years and didn't. And it was my only birth control, no condoms or anything.

Yeah it's pretty rare but it does happen they say like 1 in 100 women it can happen to. And if you do it is more likely to have complications and be ectopic. @tayjr216,
