When did you mama's take your glucose test, I've heard you get it in 22weeks and so on but I've seen women 14 weeks having to go in I'm 17 weeks.
My drs office gave me the 3 hr drink on accident for the 1 hr test so naturally I failed. Went to do the 3 hr and almost passed out my sugar got so low. It was fine otherwise. The drink isn't bad the waiting just sucks. I had to be poked 4 times for the 3hr test.
Mine went well - it gave me a headache and I felt like my heart was beating really hard, but nothing real serious. I'll get my results in about a week.
@hidden_gem, typically around 20+ weeks .
I took mine today and I'm 27 weeks
@motherof3kiddos awe my sister finds out what we're having on monday! And I hope everything goes well and you pass with flying color
@hidden_gem, I haven't did mines yet think I do it Monday when I go back to Dr I'll be 25 weeks
@mirandafamilyoc props to you mama because some women be like nooope forget it and don't hold anything in lol
@allieekaay I hope the next one goes perfect and you don't have to go back
@tiffanyf97 I really hope mine goes smoothly I've never had any case of diabetes nd I better not start now. But I eat sweets all the time lol nd I feel no different
@hidden_gem oh wow yea I remember when I took it with my 2nd child oh I had to throw up myself but had to hold it down cause they said if u vomit its a no go but all my kids I passed it I just pray I don't take it again
I took mine at 12 weeks and now I'm 14 and they want me to come back to do the 3 hour one
@mirandafamilyoc yay I'm glad you passed it the first time around, my best friend had to take it 3 time the first time she threw it up, the 2nd she literally pooped it out and finally for the 3rd she passed it
@hidden_gem, they made me drink within a 5 min range and when the hr was up they take blood and than you wait for your results .. like up to a week
@hidden_gem, I was so scared I was gonna fail cause I'm a big soda drinker lol .. but I passed..
@hidden_gem mine went good its better when its cold to drink my #s was a 73 so I pass
@tiffanyf97 @mirandafamilyoc @classylevassy how did your glucose test go for you guys?
@motherof3kiddos @jacesterlingsmommy ok good because I was clueless thank you! How did your glucose test go for you both?
Usually mid 20s is normal protocol. The ones that take it earlier may have a higher chance of GD, be older, have type 1/2 or have had it with previous pregnancies. Or it could be something else along those lines.
Weight Gain
What week are you and how much weight have you gained so far?
I don't know how many times I've seen this on here but I would really like to make it clear that it takes about 5 or more weeks of being pregnant before you actually know you're pregnant...
Birth stories!
I've got 5 weeks left but according to my doctor I only have 3. So please tell me your birth stories and if you did it naturally how it was. If you got an epidural tell me how long you went without one. Please and thank you!!
How many weeks were you when you found out you were pregnant??
I was 8 weeks.
Unpopular opinions
I've seen this before but I've seen a lot of new ladies on here. What's your unpopular opinions?
@jacesterlingsmommy oh my ,I don't mind the blood drawn but the waiting will probably get to me. Then I feel like it's going to sit in my tummy
