I'm struggling with potty training my three year old, I know..I know I waited a little longer than most but I've waited for her to show signs she's ready. Today we started first thing this morning, put on her big girl panties and set a timer for every twenty mins. She's had four accidents and isn't actually using the potty when we go. Any suggestions?

I haven't potty trained my daughter yet but my mother told me I was potty trained by the time I was 1 1/2 .. what she said she did was in the morning .. do exactly what you said ..& she said every half hour or sooner she'd go to the bathroom (even if she really didn't have to go she'd sit on the potty ) and so would I and I'd sit w her and eventually got the hang of it . Just try and have her go each time you do ..& praise her each time she successfully does !eventually she'll get the hang of it . Best of luck !

I heard to do every 15 minutes and do a sticker chart and whenever she fills it up maybe do a mommy and me day or she gets to get a toy or pick dinner or gets five dollars might help
