So, me and my SO have been watching 13 reasons why together and I think it's a great thing we are. We have a son and I have learned so much. I know my son is only 3 but the warning signs are stuck in my head and it's bringing back memories when I was in school.
I'm embarrassed to say but I was both the bully and was bullied.
Of course I have changed a lot since then. Now I stay away from drama and remove myself from it I admit I entertained gossip but this show made me realize I can hurt someone's feelings. (Even though they do the same to me)
I don't want to be that kind of person.
Has this show changed you or helped you with warning signs with your children?
I know it's just a show but geez it feels so real.

This show really hits you in the gut with realization! How blind we can be in high school and how cruel other can be. I have two kids and I agree with you; they're young but it's never too early to take notes on these kinds of situations.

@teniera, yes, I completely agree kids can be so cruel. And yes that was sad. I barely began a relationship with my mother to open up to her. She wasn't really around much when I was gong through the drama and bullies in middle and high school. My goal is to be an approachable and non judgmental mother so my son and future children know they can come to me with anything.
Currently watching this. I wasn't bullied at school I was just the shy quiet girl who didn't talk to more than like 2-3 ppl lol but I was bullied in my neighborhood by 2 sisters when I was about 10-11
